Well. It isnt now as we're still in the process. I dont think that Brexit will be all the outies want it to be. I think their will still be reasonably free movement.

It already is very, very difficult for foreigners to move to the UK unless they are EU. It is difficult to move to any developed countries unless very qualified . You need a skill that is desirable that they feel locals can't place or a wagon load of cash, parent being born in the country etc.  You can also get married but it has to be real. They will find out if it is fake. Even if real, you still may not get to live in UK.  I met one woman from Senegal who's brother fell in love with a woman from UK and married her. He was not approved to live in the UK at all. For some foreigner passport holders, it is difficult to even visit the UK. I have met 3  people rejected a visitors visa even under the assumption that people from developing countries must want to work. My country is the same and the "Keep the foreigners out" mentality is morally and ethically wrong.

Question is: Is it possible for them to make it even more difficult?

She did not say EU though. She said foreign and it already is hard for non EU citizens.

Yes I know. But I beleive Witch is an EU citizen and was asking for herself from another post she made. Hence the answer I gave.
Your answer is quite correct for non EU citizens.

To be fair to Amandistan, it wasn't clear that Witch was from the EU...

Witch, hope my PM helped you a little bit, ignorant though I am to the ins and outs of this scenario... as I said, my hometown has a ton of people coming in from the EU.  Seems to be quite easy at the moment, but a year from now, who knows?  Thanks to the immense mis-management of the Brexit thing by our government of idiots, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing collapses between now and then...

Yeah I know mate. But I was answering Witch's question to Witch as I read it. Not a generic question/answer for all.
Completely get it can be read differently. But then so can everything!!

Witch, I think you'll be fine if its what you want. Any ideas where youre thinking of moving to?

Well, we should also put in perspective how hard it is for people to move to developed countries. I honestly did not know where Witch was from. I am not so active on the forum now and have a hard time placing the names of the people on here with the faces. Sorry, if i read it wrong.
