Old Jersey (original) Jersey was pretty nice until greedy politicians decided to ruin it.Decided we did'nt need traditional tourism (ie working class people coming over year after year).staying at the same hotels,B&B's they had stayed at for years.No,we needed high spending tourists from wealthier countries coming......you don't have to be a genius to work out these people do NOT visit the same places year after year,they can afford to come once and visit other places the next.So once again we rely on being a very dodgy financial off shore tax haven.............The Rich Get Rich The Poor Get Etc. Etc. Still we have lovely beaches and the Government have yet to work out how to put GST/VAT on sunshine...Maybe they are trying to block out the Sun with all the new high rise office buildings in our new Financial District being built opposite where i live ?  >:(

Must say, I really do learn from internet forums that people outside of New York are VERY different. No ability to laugh at themselves, thin-skinned, everything is a personal affront... And it's not a foreign thing. People outside of New York and Jersey are like that too here in the States.

Was hoping for an England / Belgium re-match. Belgians have been very impressive in this Cup. They prove is doesn't matter about the size of the country or population, its all about that undefinable quantity that makes a good team.

To be honest i was'nt too bothered who won (Love Belgium /Love France) just wanted a good game. If i were a gambling man my money would have been on Belgium , but hey ho..........lets hope for a great game and great result tomorrow..

I think France are gonna win it. Very good team with some talented individuals. I thought they made Belgium look ordinary.

Not the best semi final ever was it? France weren't all that really although they looked very solid but all Belgium offered was down the right and cross it in : over and over again, even with 10 mins left before the went out of the world cup they didn't seem able/willing to try something else and France had looked able to cope all night.

Looking forward to/am nervous about tonight  ;D I believe that England are capable of beating Croatia but Croatia are just as capable of knocking us out. I think that as long as England go out there and try exactly as they have been doing I'll be happy regardless. Of course I want to be here tomorrow talking about us being in final  :)

I'm feeling rather sad.  As I've said before, I'm no fan of football but the way this contest put a bit of excitement into the hearts of millions really made me feel a bit better about the shitstorm that the UK is nowadays...  to have England in a World Cup final would have been something of a happy thing.  No more.   :'(
