I find The Stone Roses so totally over rated along with Oasis.

Oasis sure were capable of a great song here and there. "Morning Gory" "Live Forever" "Wonderwall"

Stone Roses are not overrated. They deserve all the love and praise they get. Is everything they've done brilliant? Of course not. But I always found them to be above any of their contemporaries. Here's everybody and then alllll the way up here are The Stone Roses.

That legalisation of canabis is one of the few things I appreciate about america. 8)
I'm angrily against it.

I believe we gave up on Prohibition too soon. Prohibition - no alcohol - should be the way of the land. Weed? Uhh, if I feel our alcohol should be banned, then weed should be too.

I am also against legalized gambling,  which is something many of our states are now allowing.

I'm no ascetic (look that one up, kids). I just feel a government should not foster (and by legislation condone) vices. Weed. alcohol, gambling are vices, not virtues. A government has no right to step in and welcome them into society.

So you prefer illegal gambling then  :) :) :)
Is is a crime to believe in something different?

I meant what I said at the time that I said it

Yes, of course I prefer illegal gambling over legal gambling. Illegal gambling is hidden, hard to do thus a small number of people do it. Legal gambling allows for every Tom, Dick, and Harry to just click on a computer and place a bet. People that normally would not participate in illegal gambling now readily participate in legal gambling.

Why do not a lot of people walk on the moon? Because it is hard to do. You make that easier to do and people will die. Just look at Mt. Everest to see how that is correct. You make gambling easier for the public to do, hardship and sadness will reach many people and families.

AS you have no issue with illegal gambling , would you prefer illegal alcohol drinking and drug taking? :)

Yes, of course.

Gambling should be illegal. Drugs should be illegal. Alcohol should be illegal. Same reason I gave above: making it harder (illegal) for the general public to do would make less people do it.

If it were legal to break into somebody's home and steal their stuff, you would be doing that ten times a day. But it is illegal...so let me ask you, how many homes did you break into and take their stuff this week? None. Make that legal and you would be taking all your neighbors' TVs. Make gambling, drugs, alcohol legal and tons of people do it ten times a day.

You can knock Prohibition all you want, but without Prohibition the world would not have great artistic achievements in literature, film, and television: THE GREAT GATSBY,  THE UNTOUCHABLES, and HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."

And they gave up on Prohibition far too soon. Should have bit the bullet and kept it going. I guarantee you by the year 2019 we would have all looked upon alcohol in the same hateful manner we look upon genocide or terrorism or Bon Jovi music.

Worry about yourself and yours, keep your nose out of other peoples business

Once again, your business is my business. As much as I wish it were true, I do not live on my own planet. I have to deal with the low lives on this planet who make poor choices. To legalize alcohol, drugs, and gambling, those poor choices are made far easier for the low lives on this planet.

Other peoples' business is my business because what they do affects me. You can't understand that simple concept of society? Your actions affect others. I want your actions to be correct -- not to be legalized weed.

I don't know what country you are from, but clearly your education system is poor.

You were never taught anything about the Social Contract. You think John Locke, Thomas Hobbes, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau play soccer for Real Madrid.

Kid, when you learn the idea of a social contract, then come back and discuss things with me. We are clearly on different levels of learning. Mine is higher thought, yours is infantile -- my business is none of your business. Wow. I literally have heard a five year old say that.
