Wow, now that was a pretty wild show with the crowd being really into it, easily one of the biggest moshpits I've ever seen at an NMA gig.
The sound was perfect and the band's performance 10/10.

Personal highlights were OTW, Wipeout, Setting Sun (and I'm not the biggest fan of FH), States Radio (WILD!), Winter, 125 mph and ILTW (moshpit massacre).

Thanks for the setlist, and you know what, i'm glad that you kind of fell in love with setting sun-live. :)
This really was mental, so crowded and you could feel and expect before the beginning, that this will explode.
The opening blasts of sound went through your whole body, the smoke, the light..and then no rest!
I really loved that tension build up by those brutal sounds opening the concert, "das war mal ne ansage!" would i say but i cannot translate that good into englisch.

The sound was great, and the crowd so mixed but into it, that the kind of space that usually develops with an area of wild dancers, wasn't there, the density of the crowd translating every movement everywhere, but it seemed that it was good for everybody. was like a wave crashing onto people and they immediately feel they have to move along or drown;-) naah, not that wild;-)

Since the new songs are played live i try to "hum" along the choruses instead of singing the lyrics and it feels great.
I don't know, maybe just totally subjective impressions, but there were these moments, when i could hear myself in sync with the tone and sound and i was really different then shouting the lyrics and a good vibrating feeling. I would recommend to try that out! 8)

I kind of felt that after NOTV the whole band just opened up more to the singing, the choruses and that they are more of a choir now, than a singer with some background voices. And with From Here it just grew, and they sound so good together now.
Don't know how other people would regard this as real or it is just in my head. I had a blast though;-)
ever tried. ever failed. no matter.
try again. fail again. fail better.
