Dammit, that's fairly predictable though, after one of the grimmest years ever I had dreamt of NMA at the Camden roundhouse in November to raise the spirits, not to be though, Therapy? Have just postponed their whole 30th anniversary autumn tour untill 2021 also, S.L.F. not as yet. Anyhow we will survive the apocalypse and I for one will be there drinking a cold beer in 2021.

Tickets honoured and carried over, you can't ask for more than that. I feel very sorry for the band. Used to travelling around and abroad far more than most people. Must be hard going from "the Rock and Roll life style" to long term lock-down. instead of celebrating 40 years of NMA, a worldwide pandemic.   I hope these strange times are being used well to influence the writing of more new material. Maybe even the long awaited second solo album !

indeed, these concerts at the end of 2020 would have been perfect to see a "ray of light' at the end of tunnel, but "fate" was different!
Fingers crossed that the virus won't be with us in 2021 to have not postponed concerts in 2022..

Not shure I`m fit enough for  heavy travelling at the end of 2021, so I´m waiting for this next:

However we ARE planning things for this Autumn, including a major birthday celebration in October.

Perhaps an "at home" recorded livestream gig?

I am sad for the Band, but also for myself, I still had the hope….
What will help me is to buy even more tickets and to plan for more Shows in 2021

In Belgium we see smaller gigs now being planned. Like here: https://www.oltrivierenhof.be/nl/programma/

Open air with limited amount of seats (200 max right now, which is legally binding). Might be an idea for the band or Justin solo?

There are still quite afew gigs and even full band tours
planned in the UK and Europe throughout the Autumn, (Spear of destiny and SLF are both still on in September at present thankfully)..its gonna depend on the R number and track and trace ultimately, NMA would only pull a tour of this magnitude for very good reasons I'm certain, I can't think of a band who's audience would struggle with social distancing more for one!...anyhow there could be the odd outdoor show or small performance as Bever  suggested, or something off the wall even like a drive in gig.

Yep JJP you're dead right, another one bites the dust, SLF moved to March, at least its only 6 months though, NMA have moved back 1 year!..the reasons are of course sound but its a long way away..

Hi Viv

what's happening to the Athens @ Gagarin 205 and Sofia gigs that were rescheduled to November - I have tickets for these and so far haven't seen any reschedule for 2021?

Any updates if these are to be rescheduled or have been cancelled?

Thanks

Apprently they are being looked at as I type, so we can expect some sort of announcement over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully sooner rather than later. :-)

Sad but inevitable.   :'(

Genuine question here... does anyone fancy a meet in Nottingham one weekend in December?  It's been a vital part of our Christmas for several years now, obviously we won't have a gig to go to but we don't get to see our Forum pals otherwise?  A few beers, maybe a curry, whatever.  Just putting it out there...   ???

Like I said, just a vague idea, I've no idea what I'll be doing then either, but just putting it out there...
