Nooooooooo.......damn! i just came home from work and today i got my schedule for june and was so glad, that i could and would make it to cologne on the 2nd of june....so i thought :'(

But when i think more about it, it just wouldn't make much sense for artist to do a show under these circumstances. As i said before, in germany we have a martial law kind of resctriction not to leave the houses after 21/22 o'clock and are also not allowed to travel during these hours. so for anybody who had more than an hour to get to the venue, it would have meant to leave the show the latest around 19 o'clock, to get to the car out of the city and back home...or risk the trouble of meeting the police...and have to pay a fine..

This is just sad :'(

I don't know if it is too optimistic to ask or not, but is there any news for UK dates, which I was kind of hoping would have been in September?

Thanks

N.

Probably not new to most of us, but as the Burg Herzberg Festival still is not updated in the tour list :
The festival has been postponed to 2022 as this is stated on their homepage ->
"Das nächste Herzberg Festival findet vom 28.07. – 31.07.2022 statt."

Nevertheless a nice weekend to all.

I guess that will be the same for all Euro October/November shows. Maybe the X-mas shows will go ahead.

@fiddlesticks, Got my ticket to Justin's gig in Leipzig :)

If someone from here's gonna go to the Leipzig one, feel free to PM me - always up for a beer or two before/after gig :)

Also, I felt like gambling and bought a ticket to NMA gig in Köln on 17th December, wishing it'll happen as I felt that it'd be too long to wait the extra over a year for gigs I had tickets for 2020 :)

Viv, I have two questions I hope you can answer.

First, Justin was not sure the mainland Europe New Model Army gigs at the end of the year would actually happen. What are the chances?

Second, I have printed tickets (usually sold by contour-music.de) of the Cologne gigs of the last 5 years or so and would like to continue that collection. Will there be any printed tickets available this year?

Currently the shows are still scheduled to go ahead and that's what the band intend to do. But of course with the pandemic being what it is this can all change in a matter or hours and any news we will endevour to let you know as soon as possible.

As for the tickets you will have to contact https://zar-production.com/kuenstler/new-model-army as I have no idea about physical tickets :-)

Any update on the Amsterdam shows Viv - clearly the situation doesn't look promising with the new tighter restrictions that have just been put in place?

I'd imagine a fair few of us have flights and hotels booked - thanks

Hi all
I just wrote to these guys organising the concert in Thessaloniki and they state that the concert is not cancelled but postponed and that the tickets are valid.....
thanks a lot but  we bought a ticket for the 9th April and we come from Berlin the whole family. That means we could have come on the 9th April not months later. What bullshit.
I hope the geniuses will reimburse and quick or I ll get really pissed.

This is the reply I got so far:

"Hi Simon,

The concert has NOT been cancelled, but postponed to November 5th.

Tickets remain valid

Best regards,

Hi Simon73

I had something similar with the Berlin postponed dates a couple of years ago.

I sent them an email specifically saying that, because I lived in England, I couldn't make the re-arranged dates and I would like a refund. Please.

It did the trick.
Maybe you could try the same, or visit the venue when in Greece.

Good luck

GP

thanks gp(h) I wrote to these guys but no reply so far.

they must reimburse. i mean i travelled often to see the band and I like it bit if we get a ticket or even 3 fpr the whole family is because we can go on the 9th april not on the 5 november !!

Any chance for the band to "put in an appearance" in these distant shores of Brazil (São Paulo, to be more precise!), between November 19 and December 3rd? I was able to catch them every time they played in my hometown and it was a blessing! (I even got to meet the band after their soundcheck in 2010 and 2018). Also, anyone here was/were in any of these gigs?

Yep, was there and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality shown by all the locals and would love to see the Band there again.

And a request for Chile too, would provide an excuse to go to Easter Island.

Cheers

Any Chance for the USA in 2023,  its been a long while.  Ive got married had two kids and been around the boards a few laps.    I know there was some issue with the bands name and wack job American customs issues... but how about doing and NMA tour as Justin and Friends?

Miss you guys a lot
