Hi there everybody out there in NMA land - the band, the crew, the behind the scenes folks and fellow supporters
This is my first post on here and after having to come off Face Book (absolutely nothing New Model Army related) I miss the banter of all things NMA so I just wanted to post some of the things I'm feeling after the gig in Edinburgh.
Been a fan for since Vengeance and (unlike a few) love all eras.
I want to say the most massive THANK YOU to the band for an absolutely AMAZING show. Completely and utterly blown away from beginning to end - just wish I'd gone to the barrier when I had the chance but didn't have confidence that my battle weary back would hold out.
So big love to all from little me in Lancashire.
If anyone has a note of the set list from Edinburgh I would really appreciate it if you could post it on here. Also if anybody has any good photo's could you share those too. Even with a smart phone my pictures are as useless as ever.
Take care everybody. Hoping for some replies.....
Sarah
PS All the best to Marshall - missed you and hope you are okay. I'm not one for gossip or privacy invasion but all the best to you if you see this

Hello Ghosttrain
I'll post when I can. Sad that it's quiet but every thing goes on FB, Twitter and Insta these days
-
Having never joined FB or Twitter I'm not sure what I'm missing. But happy to be here.
Great to read your update, thanks for sharing.

Me again
Meant to add that the venue La Belle in Edinburgh was great - in the words of Justin a right "sweat box" just like the old days.
Also meant to say that Justin's song choice "Courage" for the Ukrainians was inspired (in my opinion)
That's all folks 'til next time

Greetings and welcome aboard, Sarah! :)
There are a few of us not on FB or twitter, so you won't ever be alone it that. :)
As requested, this is the setlist that was entered on Setlist.fm's NMA page (https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/new-model-army/2022/la-belle-angele-edinburgh-scotland-2b8920be.html). I wasn't there, so can't verify that the list 100% correct. If you (or anyone else here) spot any errors, please point them out to us or correct them here or there, if you can? Thanking any person that does so, here, in advance... Cheers!
I've inserted a few video clips of NMA in action, which were uploaded by YouTube's
The Fast Lovin', Sin-Soaked Heathen and misterpunk. Enjoy! 8)
Without further ado...

8. Western Dream
9. Fate
10. Born Feral
11. Before I Get Old
12. Vanity

14. Bittersweet (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08jgqIGyn7M)
15. No Sense
16. Angry Planet (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=za9s_Ke0MU8)
*Courage (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwRiCr2wpNE)*
**Ballad of Bodmin Pill (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TX9FIGEd6K0)**
***Betcha (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--QIhWCt314)***
There's no mention of the above three songs on Setlist.fm's NMA page (https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/new-model-army/2022/la-belle-angele-edinburgh-scotland-2b8920be.html), so not too sure where they actually fit in.
I'm assuming these were the encores, but don't quote me, lol. ;)
I'm lookin' to check out some NMA/JS tour photos, as well. Always love 'em! 8)
(I may return to this thread over time to add / update any dead links.)
Enjoy the clips and setlist, Sarah / everyone. :)

Hello 8
Happy to be here also and thank you for your reply.
From memory of the night that looks like an accurate set list.
It had slipped my mind that they did Fate 😃
I can confirm that Courage, Ballad of Bodmin Pill and Betcha were played. Betcha was definitely the final song.
I don't recall No Sense (but that is probably a memory thing). Can anybody confirm whether they played Curse or is that old brain of mine playing tricks on me 🤔
I'll check out the uploaded stuff later.
Thank you

:) Hi Sarah, welcome to this quiet but very nice place :)

Welcome
-
Welcome Sarah! And just wanted to comment that Betcha is a killer of a song to finish a gig...I remember pogoing my arse off to that one few years ago!!! Damn, I miss that feeling. Seething with childlike envy to people who've seem them lately ;D October is far, far away still :(
-
Greetings Tarsier
Keeping fingers crossed for you for the October gigs. You will not be disappointed. OMG I am still on a high from last Saturday's performance in Edinburgh. For me it feels like the 1990's all over again..... I'm lost for words as to how awesome it was.
I'm just looking over the setlist that has been kindly posted on here (playlist to be made ...) and I feel so lucky to have been able to go to that gig. In my last post I said I couldn't remember them playing No Sense but they did (and my silly old brain mixed up with Curse ... get the walking frame and dementia pills - ha ha ha)
Love to all
From a very happy old gal, Sarah
