Title: ...True or False... ? ? ? ( the NMA & co. related version )

alright... pretty straightforward, quick 'n easy and hopefully insightful and informative thread.

Phrase your NMA & co. related questions so that you'd get, at the very least, a one worded answer of either "true" or "false".  Then cross your lovely fingers and hope that a good soul, who knows the answer for certain, will take the minute to jump into this thread and kindly reply to your NMA & co. related question.

soft sad broken lol, yeah... you guessed right.  Although in relatively better spirits (at this very second), I've been considerably bored while on the board / forum these past few days.  It's just too darn quiet.  'Where has everybody gone? ....... Where has everybody gone? .......  That said and sung, I'd rather be here at home than anywhere else while plugged-in / online...  'and I don't know if that makes me crazy, and anyway I'm way past caring.' xx

Q:  Is it true that the NMA web elves have made a few subtle, but significant changes at newmodelarmy.org (https://www.newmodelarmy.org/)? ???

And I'm not talking about the obvious fairly regular tour news and information updates, I'm talking about the actual look of the background wallpaper.  I can almost swear the colour scheme was a little different last week.  This week it seems to be a bit brush-stroked and teal-ish hued.  Even the 50 second NMA promo video clip that's up on the main .org site appears to have been smoothly refreshed and updated to reflect the new, current line-up = JS, MD, DW & CM.  Or maybe I'm imagining it all.  It is so very subtle, if it really has been tweaked, spruced-up a bit.

So, is it true or is it false?

Genuinely thought I was going a bit kooky / nuts... the changes have been very subtle.  I like the look of things there though, quite a lot actually.  (I'm partial to blues, teals and greens, darker shades, cooler tones and colours).  I wonder whether the NMA web elves are planning to spruce up the look of things, over on this side as well?  If they are, I wish to beg them not to sacrifice / sweep away any threads, not even the oldest ones.  Missed too much while I was away (seven heavy years), that I'm still trying to catch up.

Just came from the shop site, and I can't see anything out of the ordinary.  Being computer illiterate and in no way tech-savvy, that footer went flying right over my head.  Even googled the meaning, as well as an image sample of a footer, and I am still lost and befuddled.

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! :D  Did the guys OR Mr. Sullivan on his own, just tease last night's A38 crowd with a test run of a new acoustic number as the very first opening song of the evening, in Budapest, Hungary?  Apparently, the first song of the gig is listed as "unknown" up NMA's setlist.fm (https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/new-model-army/2022/a38-budapest-hungary-13be81ad.html) page.  Of course, I wouldn't know, as I wasn't fortunate enough to be there in person, nor do I know anyone who did attend that particular show... well, not yet anyway.

Might the mysterious opening tune have been a dedication to a someone, who has recently passed, perhaps?  Or maybe a cover of version of someone else's song?  Needless to say, I can hardly wait to learn more.  See, even from thousands upon thousands upon thousands of miles and an ocean away from all of the smokin' action, one can still find some incredibly enthralling, fine, significant, meaty, juicy detail to sink one's teeth and wandering mind into.  How magnificent, deliciously thrilling, biting, enriching, exciting!! 8) 

So, is it true or is it false?

LMAO! ;D  Well, how about that?  Last night's setlist has since been updated.  The song opening song was "Over the Wire".  Man, NMA's "Strange Brotherhood" album doesn't seem to ever get enough love and respect.  I love that release!  There's just so much happening on it musically, lyrically and especially vocally.  Mr. Sullivan's vocals are very different from track to track on that one, and I like that, a lot actually.  Ah, well, we're all so incredibly different... and sometimes, that's a great thing. :)

Is it true that NMA are playing a gig in Ulm this Wednesday, November 23rd? ???

Apparently, it's a sold out show according to songkick.com (https://www.songkick.com/concerts/39963984-new-model-army-at-roxy?utm_source=8123&utm_medium=partner&utm_content=d553b293a9d2c25dda1284ec9fa8cd2d&utm_campaign=entity).  Odd that it's listed on the tour section of NMA's Spotify page, but there is no mention of this particular gig on either the official NMA tour page (https://www.newmodelarmy.org/tour) or anywhere else on these boards.

Anyone know whether this NMA Ulm gig information is true or false? ???

True, his dad was a nuclear physicist/engineer, they travelled a lot. I remember they lived in Belgium for a while as well, before settling in Holmes Chapel.

His brother Mike, Robin, and his son live not far from me. All roads lead to Wiltshire.
