Having a bit of aged brain freeze on this one. I'm talking about the two-set Christmas classics that pull us over to the Nottingham every December... I'm pretty sure I've made it to all but one of them. But then again I can't remember when they started so anyone got finer memories than mine about when this became such a brilliant thing?
(this thought came to mind when this years show got cancelled, I couldn't have made it anyway due to work commitments but it got me thinking... ??? )

Fond memories of that one. The 1st set was JS/DW. It was the first time I saw Rockers filled to max capacity.

Yeah... the first few Christmas Nottingham gigs did follow the '..And Nobody Else' blueprint, an actual acoustic set first and a full band thing in the second. In recent years it has drifted to becoming two 'full band' sets', not that I'm complaining!
Sorry for anyone who was going to this years show at Rockers, I couldn't have made it anyway but I was gutted when I couldn't do previous shows so I know your disappointment. Let's make it a great one next year, maybe with a few old faces will return? ;)
