I'm not gonna deny it, I can be a bit of a Prog Head, where immensely long tunes are somewhat the norm... but what about tunes that are rather lengthy but not from a band who are in that particular genre? Anyone got any favourites that aren't conventionally Prog? Also, we don't strictly have to stick to the ten minute rule, anything there or about is fine. ;)
Madness - The Liberty Of Norton Folgate
David Bowie - Station To Station
Snow Patrol - The Lightning Strike
Nina Simone - Sinnerman
Bob Dylan - Desolation Row
Tool - Fear Inoculum
Just a daft idea for a thread, trying to pump some life back into it, anyone got anything else? :)

Birdland Patti Smith
Sloth Fairport Convention
Cowgirl In The Sand Neil Young
Down By The River Neil Young

Rory Gallagher's "Could Have Had Religion" was around the nine-minute mark in its full version, though true bluesman that he was it was always improvised and no two recordings are alike. I'd recommend the 1971 Paris theatre version or the restored 1972 Marquee footage where in a quiet bit you see a drop of sweat fall off his nose and hear it hit a pickup, that version sends shivers down my spine.
For massively long tracks, there's Sunn-O, there was an amusing comment on Youtube about their stuff being measured in minutes per beat rather than beats per minute...
