They're playing in England and Germany in early 2026, but no concerts in France (yet)! I often get the impression that Germany, England, and the Netherlands offer much more Rock concerts than France! The Blues Rock/Folk artists I follow generally have more gigs in these countries than in France...simply a wider audience!

I already got a ticket for the beginning of March in cologne and they play like 20 shows in that month here in germany. Don't know whats going on in France but you could be right with that impression. Maybe it's because you don't have great french beer!? ;-)

I suppose it's more because we've never really been the land of Rock music, it's not our roots! The most popular french rock bands among young people here in the 70's/80's/90's were Noir Désir (before the Trintignant/Cantat tragedy), Téléphone, and Trust, so it goes way back! Then there were the alternative rockers, but that was another story. When people talked about Rock in France, they often talked about Johnny Hallyday, not exactly an alternative/indie rocker! Rock in France is really overshadowed in the charts and concert venues by Rap and Electro, which have been very popular with young people for years! So we can better understand why in France NMA plays in small venues (capacity: 500...maximum 800 people) while in England and Germany they play in front of thousands of fans! I've only followed it from afar, but for the past few years there have been some young people here playing in Rock bands, so there's still hope!

PREYRS - Zeros, Ones & Lies (Live at Riddel's Warehouse, Belfast)

The Album is brilliant, fantastic, i totally love it. I wrote in another thread, just after i got it and had one listen, that i have to get more aquainted with it and now i would say that it is has become one of my best friends. And i love to hear it from start to finish. There were and are some favourite tunes on it which i love to play directly, but i love every song on it.

These live recordings i posted here from the Riddel's Warehouse are so good and have an even more powerful side to them, that i hope after their debut they will release a live recording. It just amazing how Amy is delivering her singing.

Here are the tourdates from March in Germany:

What a great, great, fantastic, powerful rock night that was! :D

I went there early, good weather, wanted to walk around cologne a bit, tried to find the location by remembering, which line of the tram i have to use..and it kind of worked. So i was there about 2 hours before the concert. I could hear PREYRS doing the soundcheck and the support band was arriving and asked me if i was like involved in the venue. We had a good conversation and more people arrived, from Netherland and Frankfurt and they were waiting for more friends to come. I talked about being at the Palladium gig and discovering PREYRS while one woman said, that she was at the gig because of PREYRS and discovered NMA, but she also was a big Levellers Fan and how great that evening was for us.

Then i just had to sneak in the venue, searching for a toilet, the beer demanded its release to make space for more and i then almost ran into Amy behind the door and we had a nice, friendly chat almost directly picking up the conversation we had after the Amsterdam gig and i also could talk with Michael, the drummer and producer. Later we sat outside and guitarist Nolan also joined and these guys are so cool and friendly and open, i have so much respect for them doing the tour all by themselves, without a driver or roadys and i would say they really have a demanding schedule ahead.

At the concert Amy asked how many people came becuase of the NMA tour and some hands went up, don't know how many but about 10?...I met two NMA Fans i know, Harold and (the other Name i forgot) and i think both will look for more dates of PREYRS to attend. The group of people i met is doing several gigs and i will meet them today in Offenbach again.
The concert was full of energy, great setlist with new songs or at least i didn't know them, Amy puting out this wonderful energy, her voice and performance so intense and at the same time so friendly and smiling and you feel her excitement and it just spreads into the room. There was this situation when she came down into the crowd singing and for a moment on her way she was right in front of me, face to face, eye to eye, both singing..that was intense and wonderful. I got a little pushed while i was dancing and immediately thought, yeah let's mosh or move a little more but he crowd was not up for it, i felt a little restricted there and i also excused myself to the guy with his girlfriend into whom i was pushed to and by some looks and smiles everything was ok.

After the gig we sat outside, Nolan was there, not so very amused when i told him how far away Hamburg is, the show the next day, no, the show on the same day, it was late...again, i have so much respect for those travelling musicicans. Of course i missed my train home, but that's another whole story and i arrived safely, not quite sober but very happy, at 10 in the morning yesterday...

So now it's off to Offenbach.

If you have the opportunity to see them live on this tour through march in germany, shou should go!

I made a video from the Offenbach gig, with the hope to promote the tour a little bit.

So please share the video, spread it everywhere (or just enjoy it) and then go to see them live!

Thank you so much Ghosttrain!!

I really want to ask anyone here who reads this, to go to that video and leave a like so that youtube will show that video more often as an offer for other viewers.

It wasn't planned to do a live video, actually i wanted only to get some images for a video with sound from the record, but this part really turned out well soundwise, so i left it this way. I'm also trying to do a proper live video of a whole show, i think this will be on 27th in Krefeld. Have to organize some more equipment and hope my son will take part in it, he is a good camera operator.

It was a great show in Krefeld, a wonderful rockin' evening with fantastic live Music. Frank's White Canvas was the support band, they were great!, but it was more of a two headliners concert, both bands played more than 90min.
Here is a cool review (in german) of that evening with great pictures:
https://metal-heads.de/konzertberichte/lieber-live-musik-statt-test-laenderspiel-preyrs-franks-white-canvas-in-der-kulturrampe-krefeld-27-03-2026/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQMMjU2MjgxMDQwNTU4AAGn7Qlj9gfN14SfS_z3buNlFKzQFPEyCqIa0OoOT50inKA_47H9rvd8OiYgtV4_aem_bKsQswf_hRg-tH3ZZTKOiw (https://metal-heads.de/konzertberichte/lieber-live-musik-statt-test-laenderspiel-preyrs-franks-white-canvas-in-der-kulturrampe-krefeld-27-03-2026/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQMMjU2MjgxMDQwNTU4AAGn7Qlj9gfN14SfS_z3buNlFKzQFPEyCqIa0OoOT50inKA_47H9rvd8OiYgtV4_aem_bKsQswf_hRg-tH3ZZTKOiw)

I had such a great and inspiring time on that tour with PREYRS, funny and meaningful conversations with the band, talked with Amy about her lyrics and also met many PREYRS Fans who travelled a lot to come to the shows, many shows. I saw 5 shows, well 2 i saw and the rest i recorded. It was a spontanous idea i talked with Michael about, so i just brought my cam to the show in Offenbach and the idea was, that i just get some footage for short clips to promote the tour, because i couldn't expect the audio from my cam-micro to be any good, but one take sounded really fine, so i did a whole song video with live sound to Change Change.

With the second show recorded in Oberhausen i tried to mix them both to mask all the unusable shots and used the cd-tracks as audio and pretty much liked the result.

I made almost every mistake you can make before recording, like having too high iso, the wrong picture profile and white balance (just didn't do it) and therefore got a not that good clear picture and noticed again, that you just need to practice all the time to get good results. I was again searching for all the settings in my cam, kind of had to learn it again...

So for Krefeld i wanted to have more cams and a good live sound taken from the mixing board. I asked my son if he would help me out and we brought 3 cams and 1 action cam. A huge problem is that my Panasonic cam can only record 29m59sec in 4K (and you wouldn't belive why that is so, when searching for a workaround i found out that it is because of customs restrictions!..nevermind) we had to use that cam as a the total-shot and my son should go there to stop and start it again before time runs out.

And now, here it comes...i still can't believe it/me...have to cry almost and also laugh like stupid...while i was filming i had to change my battery, i waited for a good moment and just wanted to do it really fast..and stupid me didn't turn the camera off before..which ruined everything i recorded to that time!

So now i'm searching for a recovery tool, the data is still there but broken and i hope that i can recover it. At the moment i think i will have to invest 50€ to get a licence for a programme, all the freeware didn't work...

But that is not the only thing...the mixing guy was pretty confident before the show to record a downmixed stereo track for me and save it on my usb-stick, but after the concert he said that he wasn't able to do so...
Btw the Kulturrampe in Krefeld had a fantastic live sound, the guy did really well with a good soundsystem there!

So...whatever...what the ?!$%§&"!?...i watched my footage and it's great..great performance...the Panasonic has recorded a decent sound, maybe i can use this, but also was so vibrating sometimes from the bass...now i'm downloading the footage my son has recorded and hope i can do something with this recording session...but anyways..what a good, rockin' fun time that was!

There were some NMA T-Shirts there ;-), i was a little to occupied to say hello and only had a short chat with Harold, greetings if you read this ;-), who also comes from my hometown.

Right now i'm still working on the last song i think i can generate from my recordings in Offenbach/Oberhausen, it is Nova and here the task lies in the ending of that song, where Amy is talking, kind of reciting her poem and i have no synchron image and audio...

PREYRS will most likely come back in autumn this year...

I finished a live video from the Krefeld gig and oh boy, this was more of a rescue mission and really a hard fight to find solutions for seemingly unsolvable problems but i am now totally happy with the result and feel, that it does capture the great live performance of PREYRS and that's what i wanted..live unfiltered and raw..

The task was to get something flowing, but every source had its flaws... so my son had to have an overwatch of the 3rd stationary cam, because it had to be stopped and started again after 29min and there will be always a little gap there and i told him to never stop his handcamera the whole time even when he is just moving around...but...he didn't;-)

So, this took a while to fix and i went from frustration to: well, this is acceptable and finally now, i just love it...and this is not about my work but about the great performance of PREYRS

Leave a like or comment on this, i would really appreciate some honest feedback (i totally go editblind after a while) and how you like the performance of the band...

Alles auf Anfang!..is a german term used in theater, film or whatever production, after a rehearsal or test of a scene, when you set everything to the starting point..and go again..like "back to zero"..Zero, Ones & Lies..i set Alles auf Anfang, deleted the old version and worked on a new one. I think i needed the distance after kind of just trying to fix it and now it's got more rhythm...
I also deleted the other vids, i have to re-work them...

So, if you're the one who has seen the old version, you haven't seen this! (just reminds me of the Carnival Redux version..the same but so different..and better  ;)
