Never seen it before, but cheap enough. I'm guessing it's a cdr from an old bootleg cassette tho' for under a tenner....

Got it today. So far, so good actually....

I think I was at this gig.....if it is the one where they supported the Alarm? Could never remember if it was 83 or 84? If so I was there! Blew The Alarm off stage I remember......?!

I'd be wary of these so called bootlegs that have been appearing of late as it's not to difficult to make your own bootleg nowadays. All you need is to make a good looking cover and a professional looking disc then you can knock them out for a tenner at a time. A lot of the older recordings can be found if sought out and probably for little or no cost if you ask the right people. Also the band don't make anything form these recordings even though it's quite difficult to control but you can argue it's a type of flattery for bands. From what I know all the classic NMA boots are all on vinyl, Clog Dancers and Join The Army are just a couple of examples.

Hello Dave,
Well there you go......our paths crossed many moons ago! In '84 I was still into all the early and post-punk stuff but did like the Alarm at that time as well......A bit of Clash meeting U2......I really liked NMA as well of course.....to me I loved the forthright approach and had never quite seen anyone on stage as intense as Justin.....he almost spat venom!! Or so it seemed to a 17 year old.....
Catch up soon no doubt....are you going to Strummercamp?
