We've been a few times. Looks like yet another festival we've bought tickets for where we'll be missing a day.
-
Cool, passed word on to my brother who happens to live nearby. Think he enjoyed the 30th show in Notts - that was his first foray into NMA and I'm sure he said he would be up for more.
-
Looks like a night in York is on the cards then.

Looks like the emergence of dates leading towards the acoustic festival.... Joy of joys

-
Hopefully we can make it...is a good venue :)
-

Be rude not to although I'll be flying solo!
-
We'll be there !
Booked travelodge in Leeds much cheaper than York & frequent trains back!!
-
Would be rude not to go, a nice night off, between the rubish bins of Bearded Theory and heading up to Knockengorroch Festival for more waste disposal.
-
yep, we can make this too :)
-
Tickets for York arrived yesterday. Nice!!

It's the day after my birthday so I think so!!!!!

Just bought tickets, after missing the Darlington gig last month due to not knowing about it!

Good lord how so sir????? It was a crackin' night it has to be said.
-
Either lack of advertising or me being with my head in a bucket. Then when I found out, I was at work until after 10pm so would have missed it anyway as had to travel from Newcastle to Darlo.
It's been several years since I've seen Justin solo and even longer since I've seen Joolz perform.
-
Tickets have arrived!
-
Probably a silly question I know but is anyone planning on meeting up for a beer beforehand & if so, where?
Cheers,

Not sure I can make it sadly...... Had planned to go, however FUNDING has become an issue til next week........ :'( But since there's a brace of MAIN EVENT type do's on the near horizon I'll cope I think........

As an exile from York, if I'm about in town I'll head to the Lendal Cellars or the Maltings, but there are a couple of good pubs nearer by. The Blue Bell is good but tiny (my living room is bigger!), Golden Fleece across the road is OK and good if you're into haunted pubs!
Actually scrap that, the Last Drop Inn is the best punt on Colliergate http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/39/3940/Last_Drop_Inn/York
Depends what the rest of the crowd decides on though!

Great night, good gig!
-
Really enjoyed the gig and thanks to the kind couple who let me stand down the front in front of them as long as I didn't bring a load of mates down there with me!
It was painfully loud during the support from where I stood, even with my earplugs in!
Great stories and lots of laughs from the stage made it a very happy gig. Didn't get to catch up with many people though, but I think that's because it was so dark and didn't get chance to hang around afterwards as I was being Des.
Thanks for my birthday gig Justin & Dean!
-
Justin and Dean on top form last night. Crowd really up for it as well. Great night.
-
Had a great night in York last night. Cheers all.

Nice pics mate!!!!!!!!!! Really good gig aswell, possibly the best Jez n Dean set yet.....
-
Brilliant gig in York. Great atmosphere. We even got to dance a little which doesn't often happen at acoustic gigs. Also notably less talking during the set than there has been if late. Overall a total winner!
-
great picks
-
A very good night! Was able to stand at the front thanks to a couple of friends who looked after me, something I have not been able to do before (and certainty would not at a full gig, but i do prefer the acoustic gigs).
Fantastic set list, Marry the Sea was a surprise, as was having a mini mosh pit at an acoustic gig (eek)!
-
Encores were Snelsmore Wood and BIGO?
-
these photos make me want to see JS and Dean's gig....
:'(

Yep, before i Get Old was reworked a bit and worked brilliantl;y as an acoustic track!
-
So no Master Race/Carlisle Road/Sky in Your Eyes then?
-
York was fantastic, seen the band many a time but this was the first chance to see Justin and Dean doing acoustic. Atmosphere and venue were great, excellent to hear the stories from Justin, the set was great all in all a fantastic gig. Thanks to the short haired dancing bloke front right of the stage who let me and my girlfriend in front of him so I could get some better snaps, nice one. We stayed on in York on the Saturday and came across Ed Alleyne-Johnson busking :) We had a chat with the great man and he played Vagabonds for us, a superb way to finish a great weekend

Woe is me............ Master Race was Lights....... LS43 I always mix up the title on.. (it was late, I was enjoying cold cider and still wigged from driving I fear.......)........
I am now doubting my sanity............ :-[
To the fridge....................... ;)

If there's a chance to dance Gayle...we'll take it :)!!! And good to dance with you seen as you're normally down the front at gigs. Great set and top night wasn't it -shame we couldn't stay for more of the after gig disco tho ;)
