Title: Clogs in the Rain.
Post by: kezz on April 20, 2012, 05:23:33 PM: Is it ok to wear clogs in the rain? Thought for some reason this would be the best place to ask ;)

I still fancy a pair of reconditioned paras if the shipping to Germany wouldn't so expensive :P ::)

Although I have to say, that the last pair (derby clogs) I bought (2000) were of rather poor quality :-\

Irons are for men, is all young Southern lad. =)
I've always treated mine to a good coat of Dubbin in black or nuetral either or. Seals most leak issues. The wooden soles are fine as long as you let them dry naturally. Don't put em on a radiator or something stupid and all is well even if they get soaked through.

Post by: kezz on April 20, 2012, 11:04:32 PM: Thanks all. I've treated them with neats foot and then a final coating of mink oil to waterproof them but was just worried about the wood. They are super comfy :)
