Very arty but overlapping pictures, unreadable text and extremely small text doesn't make for a great user experience :(

Most likely you have issues caused by cached version of the old style sheets. Try CTRL+F5 in on PC, or Apple+R if on mac to force you web browser to get the new files. That should sort it.

CTRL + F5 did nowt fer me.......... =( my eyes are bleeding now. feels like welders eye........

Jiberish - clearing cache did improve front page, thank you (oh and not everyone uses windows or mac :)

That now looks fine but these pages are so bright and busy and hard to read at the moment.

I like the new layout generally -  but when I look at threads in the forum I sometimes see only those that appear on the dark grey background.

The alternating ones that appear on the pale grey background sometimes dont appear (or do only temporarily if I move the pointer around) - in their place I see a plain black area with no text but just the smileys? Maybe it's just my PC - it is very old now - eg youtube keeps telling me my browser is years out of date and will no longer supported (and no, I dont seem able to download one - don't ask...!)
