Have people been receiving their tickets yet? I checked on seetickets a few weeks back and think it said they were sending them out in week of the 5th May... then it changed to 'in stock and will be sent out shortly' (whatever shortly means)... ?
-
Not yet...
-
Plenty of time yet and since they say "Tickets are in stock and will be despatched shortly to the address provided." I don't think there's anything to be concerned about.
-
Got mine ages ago, but they were from the venue.

Min arrived from the venue this week.. try to avoid using See if at all possible.
-
Mine hasn't arrived yet but See tend to send them out about a week before...I've got so many tickets coming for NMA and other events I've lost track of what's supposed to be arriving when...must get organised ;)
-
Ordered from venue turned up in a couple of days
-
Same old See every time I say I won't use em as the tix turn up at the last minute, this time I did cos I wanted to get straight in there when they went on sale but it's the usual usual, so don't panic, even tho they've had them in for months they will finally get off their @rses and send em out when they are good and ready, just to keep you all on your toes. Presumably they work on the basis that it all adds to the excitement

They wanna get hurried up I tell ya.......... Hotel sorted, folks sorted. Tickets delayed......... :-\

You should've taken notice of this top tip that was posted way back in February by Juliefrazz.
"A tip regarding tickets.... It's worth booking directly via the venue rather than via Artist Ticket:
It looks like Artist Ticket charges an extra £2 booking fee per ticket plus a further £2 transaction fee, whereas the venue just charges the face value plus a one-off booking fee of £2.50.
AND... the The Robin usually posts out tickets within a few days."
-
I took note of the top-tip and, as above, worked well for me! :)
-
I don't see what the fuss is all about. As long as the tickets arrive before you need them what does it matter if it's 5 months before or 5 minutes before?
-
J. You are right of course... except when they say they will send by a certain date and then don't it irritates, and then they say they are in stock but don't send them it irritates more. If they go missing 3 weeks before the gig you have all that time to sort it out. But then if they go missing 5 days before there's less time to sort it out, esp. if you have to travel, and your post often gets delayed anyway etc.
My experiences with seetickets always seem to have been a lot better than others' here, but in hindsight, yes, I should have paid attention and read the top-tip!

Mine was despatched today by See Tickets :)
-
Mine too. Had the email.
-
tickets arrived on thurs :) :)
-
Mine too, I am very pleased to say :)
-
Mmmmm, should of read this before I booked! Although only booked on thurs and got an email straight back from see saying that they had been dispatched fri aft, so fingers crossed.
Hotel booked, tickets paid for, clogs dusted, kilt bought, just the cider to drink and enjoy, can't wait.

Shock of shocks the tickets have arrived from See, must be a world record or something, maybe stung by criticism of sitting on the tickets for no particularly good reason, maybe a freak accident, maybe they were sent out two weeks earlier than 'company policy' in a grave error by a new member of staff who didn't realise they were supposed to sit on them for longer than that and leave everything to the last minute; who knows, they are here and me and Neily are heading north on the 2nd : ~ D

Tickets also on sale from here:
