Title: Bearded Theory
Post by: viking jeff on March 10, 2013, 01:00:27 PM
Just a little over 2 months to get the camping gear sorted out in time for Bearded Theory. They've got the bands booked, the real ale booked, just hope the weathers sorted and the snow will be gone by then.

If you haven't got your tickets yet hurry up!
From their forum board today.

" See Tickets & Gigantics have sold out of their ticket allocations. Quay Tickets have just under 100 tickets left.
Ticket Sellers are this years main ticket due to them not charging postage and they have less than 1000 tickets left. Worth noting that we sold 400 tickets last week! "

It was a short set. Just 1 hour. They played the same material that featured on the recent mini tour and finished with I Love The World. They should have been headlining given that most of the crowd was there to see them.

Other notable performances from The Levs, SLF, Goldblade, RUTS DC, ADF, Seth Lakeman, The Bootscrapers, Citizen Fish and New Groove Formation to name but a few...

Much as I think Rev & the Makers are a great live band - it was a strange choice by the organisers to get a headlining band who doesnt really appeal to their core audience of 40 something (ex) punks/goths/grebos/crusties !

Plus 225 as encore, if memory serves.

225 was the last song then World as an encore. It got bleeding hot down the front despite it being cloudy and outdoors. The rain was actually quite nice...
