Neither the ticket office or the venue look like they have the current tour yet? Has anyone been able to order a ticket?
This is what's currently on the tickets link: http://www.rnrticket.hu/newmodelarmy/
And this is from the venue website:
http://www.a38.hu/en/program/a-negative-art-bemutatja-new-model-army-uk-vendeg-matyas-attila-band
I know it’s months away of course, but it’s strange because the other venue/ticketing websites seem to be very easy?
Thanks!

Tickets are now on sale for Budapest.
I used www.ticketportal.hu, you first need to register with ticketportal before it will allow you to select the number of tickets you want to purchase. The instructions are available in english and there is also a print at home option for your tickets

Many thanks....I have just been on there - clicked the UK flag to translate to English, then worked through the form.
It asks for zipcode rather than postcode. When I entered a UK postcode in the field it said it was the incorrect format (whether I left a gap in the middle or not) and kept throwing me back to the start.
I will see if there is an email address to contact, but do you have any suggestions? I take it you have registered - was your registration OK?

You just have to 'invent' a zip code in the Hungarian format - 4 numbers, no spaces, no letters

I thought it might have tripped up the validation checks on the credit card, but that seems to have worked fine - many thanks!
While I am here, anyone have any ideas about hotels?
Cheers

Nicky,
The hotel Ibis on Raday utca close to Kalvin square is a decent hotel and would be about 10-15 mins walk to the venue. nice street of bars along it also.
cheers

Thanks for the tip. Once I sorted the train and ticket I booked the Mercure Duma - think its just down the road from the Ibis and right over the bridge from the venue.
Budapest hotels seemed a lot cheaper than Prague - maybe because these Budapest hotels are a little further from the city centre, but even so - half the price?
See you there!
