So, the Big Documentary is now coming out in 2014... that's fine, I'd rather have it GOOD than have it NOW and work needs doing to it before it's released, then so be it...
I'm sure the NMA inner circle have thought about this, but what are the chances of having a big Premier, before it comes out on DVD or whatever? Where the hardcore NMA-ers can see it first, have a great night out amongst like-minded follk and possibly a few beers before and afterwards? With a curry afterwards? (Hey, it IS Bradford...)
And, as a venue? That big Media museum in Bradford has a cinema called the Pictureville, 300 capacity... we could probably sell that out 2 or 3 times over. I'd be willing to pay £30 - £40 quid for a special event like that... especially if there was a little acoustic set thrown in... and after all, Bradford is where NMA started out...
Anyway, that would be a dream night out for me, just chucking the idea out there, if any fellow NMA-ers think it's also a good idea, make yourselves known and perhaps the seeds might turn into fruit...

I sort of suggested that before when I asked if anyone knew HOW it was going to be released, be it at Cinema, straight to DVD of what, but I don't think it has been decided yet. A premier in Bradford, absolutely. That would be well worth the trip, and what ever entrance fee. thinking about it now I kind of glad it will not be till next year what ever happens. With the album in Sept, you don"t want all you birthdays to come at once.
Maybe even a little UK tour for the film release,, could be very nice.

And I had this cunning plan.
A showing before each gig instead of a support band.
I can just picture everyone sat on the floor with buckets of NMA branded popcorn and Dawn and Speedy selling Ice cream during the inevitable toilet break for the slightly older ones (like me) :P
And can I also suggest Stoney with a large stick for the minority who are unable to shut up discussing last nights TV soaps.
Its just a thought. ;D

Were you at the 30th anniversary show in Nottingham (second night) where the acoustic set was partially ruined by quite a few f-ing idiots chatting and laughing LOUDLY...
Seriously, I thought I was going to have to beat these tossers to death with their own shoes...

You've pretty much designed and described an ideal road trip and night out - bring it on!! Defo curry afters in Bradford, that restaurant we all piled into after the show last June was cracking
