The Leeds gig is Thursday 14th November, just so you don't get confused an all...
-
Sorry, will amend :-X
-
I always use the travelodge by the railway station, and its very walkable for the gig
-
Thanks Claire - dunno whether it's the one you mention but we're now booked into the Travelodge Leeds Central Vicar Lane. £22 each for a double room EACH....good stuff. :) Just half a mile from the venue. Thanks again.

Thanks Claire.
Any other tips for the Leeds trip?

Any other tips for the Leeds trip?
None spring to mind.....
There is a decent Weatherspoons on the road up to the venue but i can't for the life of me remember the road name....
-
Is that the usual meet up pub for Leeds?

No idea!
Anyone else help with that?
-
I'm assuming you mean the Cuthbert Broderick in Millennium Square, just next door to the venue.
Cheers,

am I too early to be worried that my tickets for Leeds haven't arrived yet?
-
Not had mine either. Think it depends where you order them from. I will start worrying the week before. :-\
-
it wouldn't be a huge problem to go buy some from the box office, I'm only 10 miles away. Would be annoying though, especially if it sells out
-
I appreciate this is about Leeds but I got my tickets for Manchester about 4 weeks ago. I can't remember who I ordered them through.
-
Got ours through Ticketweb and they came very quickly after ordering, a good few weeks ago now, but I wouldn't worry it's probably just down to different agencies.
-
The link on the main site for the Leeds gig has buy ticket links though The Gig Cartel / Seetickets. I assume I ordered my ticket, not yet received from The Gig Cartel. I ordered my Wolves ticket from See tickets, and got that a couple of days later. I've not had my Notts tickets yet either, but some ticket firms appear to print then send out tickets a week before the event. Not time to worry yet, but it is nice when you have your Jimmy Cricket safely tucked away in advance
-
I ordered 2 Manchester Jimmy Crickets, one from Ticketline in May, one from Ticketmaster in July.
The Ticketmaster one arrived within 3 weeks, the Ticketline one arrived 3 days ago.
Morale of this rather dull story....Master is quicker than Line.

Tickets all seem to be randomly dropping through letter box having ordered 6 Aberdeen to Bilsten I have 4 so far but still no Leeds nor Machester. Fingers crossed they do get here...but time enough left. To help wet the appetites a little more I've just posted a playlist from Munich 20th Oct on spotify. If you're on twitter should find it on #newmodelarmy. Fun ye 'all.

I got an email back from the ticket people saying the promoter hasn't released them yet
-
considering all the dates in which I cannot move from Berlin because my partner is going abroad for work, it seems that Leeds is a potential date. I just have to find a way to go now as cheap as possible. And if I manage to find the transport I will need for sure to find a cheap place to stay or better a couch of someone from the area offers that ti me. one family one tribe. love to all. simon

email from Eventim today: "your tickets for Leeds have been sent out today" :-)
-
Simon73 - sorry I can't offer you a sofa to crash on but the likes of Ibis & Holiday Inn Express are not that expensive - for example, see Ibis Leeds City Centre http://www.expedia.co.uk/West-Yorkshire-Hotels-Ibis-Leeds-Centre.h1085814.Hotel-Information?chkin=14/11/2013&chkout=15/11/2013&rm1=a2&hwrqCacheKey=8e1336d2-347c-44f9-8cfd-f056176db70bHWRQ1383341846015&c=d88779ef-749f-4a83-b4c2-4e6acc15a2fb&&hashTag=default&rfrr=-30461 (http://www.expedia.co.uk/West-Yorkshire-Hotels-Ibis-Leeds-Centre.h1085814.Hotel-Information?chkin=14/11/2013&chkout=15/11/2013&rm1=a2&hwrqCacheKey=8e1336d2-347c-44f9-8cfd-f056176db70bHWRQ1383341846015&c=d88779ef-749f-4a83-b4c2-4e6acc15a2fb&&hashTag=default&rfrr=-30461)
£39 for one night and a short (ish) walk from the venue
Ibis Budget is even cheaper at £30 for one night
-
Hi I'm new to this so apologies for possible bad forum manners. I got a room @ The Ibis for £19 which I thought was cool, Venue is probably 15 minute walk (sober and not in clogs!). Anyone coming up from The South West by M5 who can pick up one of the like-minded? Petrol money in it for them!
