Can any of you kind folk offer some advice in getting to Warsaw cheaply from Manchester and of any cheap digs when there?

ryanair to warsaw- chopin airport - 2 km from the venue or (probably cheaper) Modlin ca 45 km from the venue

as for digs - booking.com - beds from 5 quids
