Title: That post gig feeling
Post by: Shush on April 26, 2014, 10:55:45 PM
Don't you just love it the day after an NMA gig. You're still buzzing, and so glad you went. You know  you've spent a shit load on travel, hotel, and booze, but overall, for what else you do with your money, it was worth every penny. Meeting up with faces you only see before and after NMA gigs as important as the gig itself.

Happy dayz  ;)

Absolutely.  It usually lasts longer than just a day for us though!  Can't wait to get back over there again someday to experience it all again.

Totally get that - so while knackered after juggling work days for the fleece and O2 and then driving back down South from Holmfirth but wouldn't have changed it for the earth. Off to see Gaz Brookfield tonight which will ensure an even bigger smile by close of the weekend, nothing else is like seeing NMA but a good way to spend Sunday nite when Norwich is a long way away!  ;-)

I only travelled for 45 minutes so it was easy peasy for me.
Not even late to bed !
Up for school as usual in the morning.
Nobody would ever guess what "Miss" was up to the night before !!

I couldn't agree more.

Life, as we all know, is a series of peaks and troughs... I'm in a bit of a trough right now, but things are looking up... and Warrington put a smile on my face and a skip in my step.  Still buzzing, two days later.

It was great to finally meet several of you posters, not the least of which was the magnificent fella known as Shush (and his good lady wife!)...  Best wishes to you all!

Yep - does wonders for the soul huh? Mind you, there's also the bruises, bumps and aches that you think that maybe you're a bit old for all this malarkey - nah, we'll all still be moshing with our zimmer frames

Excellent 2 nights at Holmfirth and Warrington, wanted to do Norwich but work at 7:30 this morning and I'm 3 hours away.

Still buzzing though and credit to Andy on a brilliant job on the drums

Zimmers...  ;D Maybe we could expect the zimmer NMA stickers coming to the shop. We have to practise new talents in making a human tower too.

*Reminds me about Disorder EP named "Rest home for senile old punks presents the Disorder" and its funny pics... Hehe.
