BETWEEN WINE AND BLOOD - CHRISTMAS 2014
We want to build on the spirit of musical adventure that "Between Dog and Wolf" began and close the year with a series of very special concerts we have called the "Between Wine and Blood" tour.
The show will consist of two performances:
The "Blood" set which starts the show will be a no frills rock set. We will perform songs old and new, but there will be a particular smattering from the early albums , the first of which "Vengeance" will celebrate it's 30th anniversary this year.
The "Wine" set will be a special performance where we will play, accompanied by special guest musicians, songs from across our catalogue with arrangements not previously possible outside the studio.
The dates are as follows:
December
12th London The Forum
13th Nottingham Rock City
19th Paris Le Trabendo
20th Koln Palladium
21st Amsterdam Melkweg
Tickets for London & Nottingham are onslae from 01/05/14

Viv - any idea of the stage times for London or is it a bit too early yet?
Thanks
-
Also, Nottingham... might be getting over a bit late, don't want to miss anything... ???
-
As far as I know:
London
Doors: 19.00
Nottingham
Doors: 18.30
Early show due to club night afterwards.
It's two sets so come early to avoid disappointment!
-
Cheers, Viv... I am old enough to remember when 'club nights' at NRC were great... not so much nowadays, so I hear...
Whatever, a cracking aftershow doubtlessly awaits!
On a slightly divergent note, I remember an NMA gig at the now-gone London Astoria, where we all got kicked out before 10 so that the bloody hamster-faced pop warbler Rachel Stevens could play... ::)

Ok, I've got some revised times for the Christmas shows:
London
Doors: 19.00
NMA: 19.45
Nottingham
Doors: 18.00
NMA: 18.45
Paris
Doors: 19.00
NMA: 19.45
Koln
Doors: 18.00
Hugh Cornwell: 19.00
NMA: 20.45
Amsterdam
Doors: 19.00
NMA: 20.00

So why are there no Christmas shows special tour shirts?
-
With the greatest of respect for all of the NMA lot, I have to ask the same question... didn't buy a T at Nottingham because all the shirts were just variations of established designs... yet I saw loads of BWAB t-shirts! Where did they get them them? Had they all sold out by Nottingham?
-
I think the BWAB shirts are just the CD shirts. As this was the first time I got to witness a Christmas show, I would have liked a tour shirt with the five dates and venues. Was a little surprised there weren't any, as I have been told merch is a big part of a band's revenue these days.
-
I got a NMA logo shirt with BWAB on the back.
Got it from the shop before the tour
-
Got on the Shop today, plenty of new T-shirty goodness there...
