At times some bands have rushed and failed with making music vids. Then the video may turn out to be very funny, ridiculous or disgusting. Either the budget is far too low, or they didn't prepare the making of the music video well. And even if you like the band and their songs very much...
I think it's fun to check those vids sometimes. If you know a link to some certain music video which could fit in to the topic, please share it with us. I'll step aside and join you later and put some links to music vids too.

Ok, here are couple of videos from legendary metal bands: Savatage for example and their classic Hall of The Mountain King (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=mOKoLiOkWWQ). The dwarf actor is running all the time in the video somewhere and waving his hands by expressing emotions of panic but he's doing it too much. All the time actually.
Autopsy is/was a well known death metal band from the end of 80's 'til to -94. They reformed in 2010 again and signed to Peaceville Records. I think there's actually nothing wrong with the video, but it's always a bit funny when deeply growling vocalists are filmed from the front of - you know straight to face. However, I've used to like the band and their new stuff isn't an exception to me.
Here's a pretty nasty video from Immortal that I saw in another forum years ago. I don't listen to to that stuff, but the video is ridiculous indeed. It's Norwegian black metal band and the song is called Call of The Wintermoon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VBdAY8eA9w&feature=player_detailpage). ;D
