Very short set list!
How many people were attending NMA's show?
Have you seen some others good gigs at this festival?
It seems that it is one of the most famous rock festivals in the UK, or am i wrong?

Was a bit short, but festival sets often are, dont think they were allowed an encore because Iron Maiden were coming on the main stage,i guess they wanted the maximum audience. There was quite a good crowd for NMA,not as many "usual" faces though, but at £75 for a day ticket you had to be a fan of the other bands also.I like Sonisphere, its the 2nd time I've been,it is one of the biggest "rock" festivals in the UK.I really enjoyed Iron Maiden,The Virgin Marys and Frank Turner, not the cheapest day out especially at £5.10 for a pint of real ale!

We did. More's the pity, because we missed the last train and had to spend ££ on a cab fare. They were absolutely rubbish. Saw them a few years ago and they were fantastic. I think they're really hot and cold.

Shocked to hear that, sozbot!  Saw them the last time they played London (The Roundhouse) and they were superb!

Glad I didn't make the effort now!

I was at that same Roundhouse gig, and also loved it. So it was even more disappointing that they were, frankly, rubbish.

L, the sisters haven't put out a new album in about 20 years, but on the rare occasions they play live there's always new stuff... in fact, there are 12 unreleased tracks on Youtube...   ;)

Here's one, I Have Slept With Every Girl In Berlin...  I'm sure you'll find the other 11...  ;D

This is why I always regret reading reviews. Quite often I end up wondering if the reviewer was at the same gig, or even on the same planet. I'd give NMA at Sonisphere a very well-deserved 10/10!

Now THAT sums up how I felt about the gig a lot more than the last one! Great to hear that the tent was, indeed, full - Husband and I were in there really early and managed to nab front row spots so didn't know how busy it actually was. Terrific, terrific gig.
