It is very seldom we get the chance to hear first hand what great commentators say with regard to the current happenings on our little rock. I am always interested in new material that helps open up ones mind to different viewpoints. We can read all day but there is nothing more powerful than the spoken word.
To get us going I thought i would post a piece by one of my favourite authors Michael Parenti. its is a piece on Perpetual Wars and why are so needed by the powers that be

Parenti is the guy who told the New York Times journalist who claimed he says and writes what he likes that "you say what you like because they (your masters) like what you say"
And that the "dog on the leash doesn't know hes on it until he tries to stray too far from the stake"
Interested in hearing more from others.

Always like Jello Biafra's spoken word albums. Saw Henry Rollins a couple of years ago do a spoken word show, it was great!
