Title: Summer Fall Fest - Poland
Post by: Billy T on August 21, 2014, 12:45:50 PM
Tickets all bought, making the 8.5 hour trek (by plane no less) from Moldova. Who else is coming?

Will actually be spending about 2 weeks travelling around Poland, starting September 6th, if any Polish fans want to have a pre or post gig meet up...And I mean pre or post with up to a 5 day window either side of the gig, we're in.

Will start in Warsaw, head north to Gdansk, circle down for the show, head off to Wroclaw and Krakov and back to Warsaw then home.....

Any Poles who read this who have any tips for these places or near enough to 'em, I'd love to hear suggestions for where I should wander around.....

Myself and Julie will be there Billy!
We arrive the evening before the gig into Warsaw and don't leave until the Sunday evening!

Biily T, may be worth contacting Janek. He lives in Gdynia, few miles from Gdansk for ideas where to stay and visit.

You can contact him through his excellent web site, http://www.rawmelodymen.net/nmane/index.html

Very nice part of Poland, the coastal region. If you like history, you can always visit Westerplatte  while in Gdansk. Not easy to get to, no public transport. I had to hire a Taxi for the day, but for me it was worth it.

Hi!

Here is the site of the Summer Fall Fest (unfortunately it's in Polish exclusively). NMA is supposed to start at 22:30.

http://summerfall.pl/program.html

The rest of the bands have 90 minutes for each show so the main headliner will prabably have the same timespan. It's easy to get to the venue (almost center of the town).

Excuse me but what are the shortening of these? I tend to use normal names so I can't get the idea right now...  ???

.... but full of energy, as always. The spirit of the festival gig influences the setlist what's why all the cornerstones were played (G&G, Vagabonds, Purity, Stupid Q.). Nonetheless, I hoped to hear some more tunes from BTAW ......

Wilco got into this vein of doing a genetic 'easy rockers' setlist.
Surely time to mix this up a bit .
What happened to some of those songs debuted at the anniversary shows ?
Betcha, Falling !

It's reverted to type - the boys are sailing at half mast....

'Flying through the smoke' and 'I love the world'

Ah, pure me, didn't even figure them out. (when it comes to shortenings I'm more confused the more there are them).
