... and I'm talking OFFICIAL releases, not some dodgy bootleg shit... I mean things you rarely see at record fayres or on Ebay or anywhere where people go to buy NMA stuff...
For me, it's the GREAT EXPECTATIONS 7" with 'Waiting' on the b-side and a cartoon on the back that says something like 'please sign us...'
-
Strange Brotherhood triple album for me.

Strange Brotherhood triple album for me.
Never heard of that! Whats the difference between that and the usual release?
Love SB, don't understand why it's a bit disregarded in the whole NMA canon... :(
-
Mines are all pretty much bog standard
Bittersweet (no flexi disc )
10 inch - Get me out. Purity
Have NMA collection on vinyl which has the same cover as the space 12 inch ( tree) I've never seen on eBay. I think it might have been released for the Brazilian market. I will look it out and provide track listing and catalogue number it helps anyone provide me with more information. I picked it up for a few quid in Glasgow and only bought it because i didn't have it. Don't honestly know if it is rare or not.

From the Discography page,
There was also a very limited edition on Strange Brotherhood released on vinyl over six sides.
LP 07/1998 UK Attack Attack ATKATK01 limited fan club edition
Also have the double cd :)
-
I don't actually know if any of these are rare these days:
Gimme shelter CD ep
Better than them 2x7" single
SB double CD
So nothing too cryptic. I did see the Adrenalin ep in a record shop back when it was released. It was a Japanese import and pretty expensive even back then so I decided against it. Still kicking myself about that sometimes.
-
Oh i have gimme shelter 7 inch vinyl No picture cover and its a ex jukebox single so a bit scratchy when playing.
-
The box set. I don't own any vinyl or any old release.
-
I don`t know, what is rare or not
Started to follow NMA 1995, without internet `till 1999 and buying all I found of older stuff and vinyl at flea markets!
Perhaps some of the (picture) singles are rare, but the SB lp wasn`t rare at that time - this board in a simple version was online, I wanted to have SB with more songs and that was the reason to learn how to buy something via internet

That floppy disk of March in September ,, that came out with the magazine last year
In the greater scheme of things, that must be a bit rare ?????
-
I've got that version of the Great Expectations single too. I got everything up to T & C on vinyl and even then kept buying vinyl singles. Got The Price on 7 inch, but don't know if it's rare.

I'm an avid NMA collector
I've got the following LP's in no particular order
10 copies of Vengeance
9 copies of No Rest For The Wicked
4 copies of Radio Sessions
2 copies of Raw Melody Men
4 copies of the 7 track White Coats album
1 copy of Strange Brotherhood (Triple)
3 copies of Impurity + 1 proof sleeve
4 copies of Ghost Of Cain
4 copies of Thunder & Consolation + 1 autographed sleeve(no vinyl)
2 copies of Love Of Hopeless Causes
2 copies of History-The Singles
1 copy of Today Is A Good Day
1 copy of Between Dog & Wolf
1 copy of Between Wine & Blood
All the above are different in the following way i.e. imports, test pressings, different coloured vinyl, autographed sleeves, proof sleeves etc etc
1 copy of the following:
Thunder & Consolation demos
Adrenalin (Jap Import)
Collection (Brazilian import)
Live albums:
In This Together
Raw Melody Men
This Is For The Fans Not The Militia
We Are Old, We Are Young
We Never Asked For Any Of This
I also have a comprehensive list of 7, 10 and 12 singles, CD singles, CD albums, cassette singles and LP's, studio tapes, promo releases etc.
I'm always on the look out for anything different to add to my collection
If anyone has anything for sale I'll be very interested, I know there are some very rare items out there but whether the owners are willing to sell I doubt it
I'm looking for In The Army Now vinyl LP
As for value of my collection I can't put a price on it as it's taken about 25 years to get most of it and still searching.
If anyone wants the list of what else I've got I'll put it on here
Cheers

Shame as I'm collecting just for my pleasure not as a business to make money

I think the rarest NMA record I have is All of This/My Country single 12" (live at the Ritz New York/live at Coventry Poly) recorded in 1987.
