I know Membranes, I have 1 song on a compilation + "Time Warp 1991 - Long Live Trad Rock" ep and like them alot.

Do they rock nowadays? Dunno any of their new material... Maybe should google a little.

Louise Distras is playing the night before (18th) at The Lexington a couple of miles up the road if anyone wants to make it a long weekend

Do I remember this rightly or did I once see Goldblade supporting NMA one time?  Where was that?   ???

Whatever... good band. And Mr Robb is a fine writer.

Yeah, I saw GOLDBLADE supporting NMA in Manchester. Was nice to see them live as I'd been a big MEMBRANES fan in the 80's and seen them live on numerous occasions.
