Standard question, which pub for a pre gig pint in London?
-
wot, already?? This sort of post normally appears a couple of days before the gig. The standard choice is the Assembly House, next to Kentish Town station, same side of the road, and only across the road from the venue. Especially now that the the Bull & Gate is no more it's by far the nearest and it's nice and big, has a few ales on tap and even does food, for those who want to it.
Then I don't know, depending what time people can start drinking there are always some who start somewhere else and then make their way to there for a drink or two before going in.

Cheers Danny, I'm a bit early I know but I've got a busy 10 days or so ahead of me, 2 gigs in 6 days and a daughter about to give birth in-between so I need to get the important stuff sorted ;D cheers

That one seemed to be the place the last couple of times I went, so there it is then

If you fancy a north London pub crawl the Elephants Head & The Hobgoblin are both good pubs in Camden and walkable to the gig but The Assembly Rooms is a cracking venue for pre gig meet up. See you all friday night. Mine's a Guinness.
