Due to moving house and downsizing,I've got to get rid of my modest collection of NMA related bits n bobs.Eventually it'll be on ebay and I'll post here when I put it on.My question is-Which one item of NMA memorabilia would you keep if you had to get rid of all the rest?
-
For me, anything on vinyl... bought loads of stuff 'back in the day' and it's all wrapped in plastic back at my Mums house... hope I remembered to pack the various posters etc that they came with...
You can always buy another CD, but that stuff is priceless...

The tattoo's

Got to go for my signed great expectations poster from Germany 2003 if i can only pick one
-
Is that the one that used to belong to Stoney ?
-
Aye that's the one shush
-
All of it
How can ya choose ;D ;D
The one I regret getting rid of years ago was an original Vengeance tour poster that I got from a mate who went to see them at Retford Portherhouse (Slaughterhouse)
Retford wasn't even on the tour when the posters were printed, to top it all it was fully signed by all 3 of the band.
I saw an ad in Record Collector for some NMA vinyl so did a swap
Wonder what it would be worth now

For me it would be the 30th Anniversary Box set and my Ghost of Cain tour shirt from 86, I know thats 2 things but the shirt could live in the box its that thin. ;D

Yes that one Wow that is kinda weird seeing that on here
-
I gave it to Stoney. ;)
If your into posters I can do one of these for you.

Yes please that would be excellent if you want to pm me with the details i will give you my address etc
-
For me it's the Huxley's Neue Welt 30th Anniversary gig poster + signed drumstick by MD.
I don't have a lot of memorabilia though. Markxe, can you remember was there a similar version of poster of English part of BDAW tour from 2013?
-
Rusco
I don't think so but I only did the German leg of the tour so not 100% sure.
Excellent poster though :)
-
I don't know because i really don't have much memorabilia from any band that I like. I buy the music, t-shirts and enjoy getting a setlist from time to time. I guess i would keep the drumsticks that Micheal gave me in Athens. He handed them right when walking off of stage. It was really sweet of him and it was a very happy moment for me.
I am downsizing too as I am about to be homeless by choice.
-
I'm currently getting rid if loads of stuff from my other band so the answer would be none if it!
I'm with Amanda in this, I buy the music, the tshirts and that's about it.
Prefer to spend my cash on tickets
-
Have to be the Ticket Collection or if it had to be something useful the overworked mug :)

One of JS's capos. Was given to me as a birthday present by some very dear friends during a very special time of my life a few years ago. Still using it with my own guitars which puts a smile on my face from time to time :)

That's really cool! I bet you were very excited when you got that. :)

Was that the one stolen off stage at the Justin Sullivan and Friends gig at Bonn Harmonie in May 2003?

You're joking, Viv, aren't you? No? Hmm, that would certainly suck. Although I'm 100% sure that the friends who gifted it to me weren't those who took it off stage. Either way, I'm confident there will be a NMA gig or two for me this year to go to and I promise to bring the capo to give it back to it's legitimate owner. Until then please let JS know that the capo is well and I handled it with care :'(
Crime solved (well, at least the stolen good reappeared) after nearly 12 years - not that bad. So don't tell me the internet is good-for-nothing ;)

Guido, keep it and write some good songs ;-)

No. It's the way the family works. :) Would be an awesome thing if JS gets back something which was stolen years ago and a devoted fan bring it back, whether it was the stolen one or not.

Years ago,a friend of mine jumped up on stage after a gig in Coventry and nicked Justin's wooley cardy(the one in all the videos with the hole in the sleeve)Always felt guilty, and years later apologised to Justin who just laughed it off.Friend never remembered what he did with it :(.
Would love the cops to find all the stolen equipment from after the Robin 2 gig

Thanks, Viv, I'll do my very best ;)
