Here's a good ol thread for Fridays.
What mixed drinks or spirits would you prefer over the others?

I don't drink spirits often during these days but at times one or two will give a nice little warmness to your chest and maybe boost as a sidekick a bit if you have some beer too.

I'm not good with them but on a rare occasions a coffee with 2 cents of whiskey is just okay. But the best coffee mix you will get with mixing some amaretto there.

Ok,  waiting to hear your ideas.

I'm partial to a nice Scottish single malt.

Could stand the stuff until years ago, suppose I never found the right one

But I went to a scooter rally that was held at a distillery in Scotland and it would be rude not to sample some of the wares.

So I tried a few and found one I liked.

Since then I've 'ahem' sampled a few more so now have a few different ones to go at.

Not a lover of bourbon or dark rum but do also like a drop of decent vodka now and again

spiced rum, lime juice, and drop of coke

love mojitos but they have to be in proper free pouring bars

like the odd paradis

lately got a tolerance for whiskey - the real stuff with an e. old ones are stunning. and the warmth.

I have a friend who's working at pubs and he has told some kind of "secrets" about drinks. Like Fernet Branca which is very strong mint, you know. It's a well drink when you're having a hangover. But, there's another thing with mint many doesn't know: it weakens mens spermatozoon too.

Right now having a parisian espresso with amaretto.

men who spoke menthol ciggies are more likely to get ball cancer

thing about rum - white, dark, spiced, is that the good stuff is made from sugar so there is no wheat mash white alcohol added. its one of the few that are done that way. real gin like hendricks is the same. good drinks too

I've thought about rum that it's better only as a hot shot. Especially if you're having a flu.

I didn't know that it's sugar based.

The thing about wheat; It's nowadays so blamed because all of the protein crazed diets. There's a certain word for it but I don't know its name in English.

If I'm gonna be drinking spirits, it's gotta be neat.  Jack Daniels or a decent brandy.

And large.
