Title: NMA Play Camden Rocks May 2015
Post by: Viv Savage on March 10, 2015, 02:31:17 PM
New Model Army have been added to the Camden Rocks bill which takes place on Saturday May 30th in Camden Town, London, where over two hundred bands are performing across twenty venues.

Although the venue for NMA has yet to be announced, ticket price is £30.00 (+ booking fee) and is a one ticket for all bands type affair with entry to all individual venues on the festival circuit on a first come first served basis. Once a particular venue has reached its capacity, entry will be on a one in one out basis. It is recommended to get to the venue early as entry cannot be guaranteed once the venue has reached capacity. Tickets are expected to sell out very quickly so book now to avoid disappointment!

Went to Camden Rocks last year, its a great way to see loads of bands for £30 particularly bands you might not be sure about and wouldn't want to spend 10-15 quid on, taking a chance. Lots of walking between venues on very crowded streets and have to hope that two bands you want to see are not on same time, but that's like any festival i guess. I would think the Army would be at the Electric Ballroom as that holds 1500 or so, or maybe Jazz Cafe but that is only about 400 cap. We'll see.

Sounds like a cracking gig for the band to take on

Oh, wish I could be there...

I love Camden, one of my fave parts of London, so many great pubs and to see loads of bands and finish up with NMA at a tiny venue...  :D

Gutted that I can't make it as am working and it's non-negotiable... I'm sure it'll be an amazing day.
