I think this one of the most watched TED talks ever. I stumbled upon it when I was looking for ways to improve my public speaking skills but it goes far beyond that. It's fantastic and holds some really valuable life lessons.

This song was done after the tv programme the scheme was shown a few years ago. Most of you won't have seen the tv programme, its was one of the first poverty porn shows and went on to lead to shows like benefits street and skint. Its a kick back against the programme and its makers done in a light hearted way. You will all know the song but not any of the references. Anyway I hope you enjoy it.

This is a long video (it is split into parts somewhere but this is the whole thing). It's got a somewhat dramatic title which is perhaps quite fitting for one of my posts but could equally be called the most boring video ever............. basically just an old boy giving a lecture but it is actually quite interesting and does draw you in. If you can be arsed to watch it - don't half give you food for thought
