Title: Is hitchhiking accepted in Switzerland?
Post by: Amandistan on August 15, 2015, 04:22:57 PM
I am doing the Swiss dates. I found someone to room with to save money but it's still ridiculously expensive as opposed to Ukraine or something.

I was wondering if hitchhiking was common?

I have a feeling it is not because in a lot of wealthy countries it' doesn't work and people aren't so generous with sharing their cars. As opposed to Romania where "thumbs up" is the standard.
