Thought this was worthwhile - sure I'm not the only one who has experienced a "stray" hand ......... or worse.

Another excellent post, its really sad and distressing that this can happen. Doubly disappointing for me that it happened in Glasgow. I guess that there is some sad sick creepy guys out there. Can only add if any guys see anything like this happening then tell the security straight away.

Bloody hell, some guys actually need to be TOLD this?
If you're in a big crush at a gig (or even outside of the immediate area and have people squeezing past you) then a spot of what I would call 'unintentional frottage' is bound to happen. personally, I'm very aware of violating a ladies 'personal space' and always feel awkward about it when you've got little room to move and everyone's pushed up against the people in front and behind. I always try and push back, even in it's an inch or two, to let the lady in question squeeze by to wherever she is going...
I think the key point here is 'guys, be careful where your hands are... but, girls, don't take offence if it's a bit accidental...' :-\ I'm sure the guys here aren't all sex offenders in waiting...
Also 'Unintentional Frottage'... possibly a title for the next NMA live album? ;)

There was one who was known as The Groper who was a regular at gigs, he has since stopped going to gigs after a quiet word. I am also told there have been instances of a pit justice meted out to such offenders. The key is to not suffer in silence and to shout out, there is plenty of help around.
Cheers

Makes for sad reading.
Not wishing to state the obvious, but that's what the often over-eager bouncers are there for - go and tell 'em !!

"Unintentional frottage" ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'm not sure whether to giggle or shudder ! I know what you mean though MR and that's kinda unavoidable in a heaving mass of bodies. That's not really what is being talked about though is it?
Worth also taking in the wider concept of gig etiquette I think.

Ok without trying to come across as mr nice guy , there are lots of females at nma gigs probably more than some other bands especially in the same kinda genre , I think its only too right to help the girls out a bit take a few blows for them from the pit overflow try and give them a bit more room to dance or do their thing
