A few of you will remember Originalgoth as a prolific contributor to this forum a few years back.
I'm sorry to have to tell you that John Wrenn died peacefully on January 21.
RIP

What? It is very sad to hear that.
I still have one of his posts from 2010 saved in my inbox. May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear that one of the family has been reclaimed by the earth mother. Sending my condolences to his family, friends and loved ones

I felt him like a gentle and wise old chap among us with a nice taste of humour too. If you don't mind I'll paste here a clip of his text I chatted with him 6 years ago:
The Smoke & Flour talk as you know is a joke between Stoney & me & maybe a few others on here with me being a goth. It's all taken in the joking spirit is said in.
I love this forum because it is so full of friendly great people & I hope it stays that way.

Sad news, I can't say that I remember communication with him but our paths may have crossed, either at a gig or via keyboards...
-
Very sad.
I have met him many times through NMA, The Nephs , The Mish and The Sisters.
:'(
Rock on John.

Yep, remember your contributions to the board John, also remember you were a whiz-kid with IT and sorted out a "collaborative gig" spread sheet that soon got filled!
RIP
-
Oh, can remember the collaborative gig spread sheet very well. It was a "sticky thread" like the ones that reside above nowadays. But I always thought it was devised by Welsh_beard not OG? But I think you're right. It was WB who just often post to it. :)

I loved the gig spread sheet !
