Which is your favourite NMA album between these 3 last releases? ;)

Mine is Winter, it's still fresh and maybe early to talk about in comparison to the other two, but I really like it a lot. I like the songs, the lyrics and the production, the presence of each instrument on the tracks, I think it's brilliant!

Was gonna comment but I won't, far too early to do so . Anyway why should albums be put up against each other. They all have their separate place

BD&W is 2nd only to T&C for me

T&C will always be, probably, the magnum opus for me...listened to it last night after "Winter" and i was blown away!
I can endlessly listen to songs like "I love the world", "225", "Ballad of bodmin pill", "Family Life", "Vagabonds"...and also on the extended album "125 MPH", "The charge", "White coats" and the wonderful underrated "Nothing touches...great, great stuff.
"The ghost of Cain" is second i think. It's also a wonderful album. 10 killer tracks.

Now for the last three ones...I like very much BWAB because it delivers all the facets/styles of NMA, then 2nd BDAW which is overall a fine album, 3rd (for the moment) WINTER, a bit mixed about it despite some good things.

I like the songs, the lyrics and the production, the presence of each instrument on the tracks,

I like the production of the album too. The lyrics "seem" good, i say that because i'm french :D and i haven't read the lyrics for the moment, so i've understood and translated some lines here and there but far from the whole album...i will read soon the lyrics available on the booklet.

Too soon to call on 'Winter', although I'm onto my fourth listen and bloody loving it so far.

BWAB.... I do love those seven tracks, but it sounds like BWAB version 1.5, ie some great tracks that wouldn't quite fit onto the general ethos of BDAW, which was kind of a left-turn away from the traditional 'NMA sound'...

So it's gotta be 'Between Dog and Wolf' for me, certainly one of my top five NMA albums ever...

this is so personal that I hesitate to answer ...
but here I am  ;D

Winter, even if it's so young. Love every song, feels everything is in the right place, instruments, lyrics, production, really impatient to see those live.

I love BWAB, which is for me BDAW that aged like a good wine. BDAW is really so powerfull musically, but I don't know why, I don't really feel the lyrics are polished as usual with NMA, feel even awkward some time.

Again this is my opinion, I admire NMA for so many different reasons, don't want to look like I'm complaining on BDAW or I'm up on my high horse, but Winter really does it on the first listening (and it's the 8th time now ;)).

Pretty much how I see it.

Certainly BD&W, BW&B and BW&B LIVE work perfectly as a trilogy. I find it hard to separate them in my mind with the 6 studio tracks on BW&B that could easily have been on BD&W and 10 live tracks a perfect segue into the live album. Winter seems like a natural progression. I love the way all these album affect me emotionally. They make me nostalgic, angry, happy and sad all at once.

Winter for me.  I'd put that one up against ANY NMA album, yes, even my beloved Impurity.

I think Impurity is the only album where I listen to every song, as opposed to disliking at least one from other albums. And Ive got happy memories of a holiday in Somerset when I was about 20, with that as a Soundtrack  :)
