cheers Sam - will get Keren to translate that one for me later  ;D

Seems to be a lot of media coverage here in Germany - be interested to know if this is more than usual for a new NMA release or if there is a greater push from the NMA team, maybe just more people taking notice?

I first got the same impression when they released Between Dog and Wolf.

In the past you were lucky when a concert was announced in the local press at all, let alone a review of the gig afterwards. I can't imagine that the newspapers are approaching the band so much more than in the past, so maybe the it's the management that is more focused to get some press coverage than before. I didn't see any album reviews in the big German mainstream media though. It seems to be more the local press doing interviews prior to a concert in the area.

I won't complain, as I always like to read Justin's interviews. And sometimes, they don't even ask that many Stupid Questions, we already know the answers for.  ;)

Another interesting German interview, which takes a look behind the scenes regarding the production of the new album in comparison to BDAW:

Thanks a lot, it is interesting to read about the records. I thought "High" was a sort record where NMA turned to "sound bigger" again - putting more into the records.

, so maybe the it's the management that is more focused to get some press coverage than before.

If I recall correctly - after the band parted company with Nigel Morton (their manager since 84), Tommy T managed the band for a while until he sadly passed away and his background was very much the live circuit. The band then managed themselves for a while - and then their old press officer from EMI days took over as manager before BDAW. He obviously well versed in the ways of press/media - which is way their profile is so much higher
