How many of us will be going to Buckley tonight? I am, and can't wait. I hadn't been to the Tiv in 20-odd years until last time NMA played there on the BDAW tour, but it was still the same - sticky floors, dingy and delightfully seedy (it even had flyers for the same bands that I saw there in my youth!) - I loved it!
Will see you there.

Yes it is an old school venue but I like it for the same reasons ......
Buckley is a one horse town where the horse long since got p**ed off and did a runner !

I also love The Tiv but haven't been back in a couple of decades if not longer... used to go to their Saturday rock / alternative night quite regularly in the 90's. Probably would have gone tonight, but if you don't have a car, it's a bugger to get to.
Enjoy, everyone!

Oh, we did...!
NMA at their most driven, raw and merciless. Guess I have one thing to thank Trump for, at least.

Best live performance of Vagabonds I've heard it was a great gig

What a gig. I've seen NMA over a dozen or more times but this was the most intense one for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure how much of a break they had after finishing their European dates and with this being their first British date maybe it was a case of their batteries being recharged.
Sometimes you watch bands out of habit and I must admit NMA have become one of those bands for me and although they always put on a descent show this just seemed to press the right buttons for me. I thought the new album was a slow burner but I love it now and it was good to hear so many of the new songs and so soon in the set rather than being spread throughout it and they sounded like they've being playing them for years, yeah they were that good. Also a nod to The Tiv and what a great venue it is and how friendly the staff were towards us as we came in and left, not often that happens.

That really was a good gig, possibly the best I've seen.
They were fast, tight and focused! A great set list of new tracks with some classics.
Stunning rendition of Vagabonds and White Light
