Title: Blackpool recommendations

We and some of our friends will go to Blackpool Rebellion Festival next August.

Would like to hear any recommendations, hotels, places and things to do, or whatever if anyone of you have been there.

Bring an umbrella!! Depends what you like. Blackpool Tower, a smaller Eiffel and the Pleasure Beach(theme park) are ok. Plenty of pubs but not my favourite place in all honesty. Its a typical british seaside town. Cheap and cheerful!! Oh. And Donkey rides  :)

The pleasure beach is a must if you're into the theme park thing . Skinny dipping in the sea lol . A tram ride ?

Whoa, it looks like I'm gonna resurrect the thread and Rebellion festival is so close now.

If there are any of the Family folk here joining the festival, I would like to meet you at Blackpool and have a chat. Maybe take a drink and enjoy the biggest punk Festival. If you see a bald guy at fourties with a ten cm's long fully grey beard please come and introduce yourself.

Would be great to meet with Shush, Master Ray, Darkness, Pol, Anna, Wessy, Stoney, Welsh_beard, Ingo or anyone of the folks on this board during the old days. Please, drop in a private message.

I won't be there .
Really surprised by the quality of the bands , I'm sure you'll have a excellent time . I'm sure you will find a pub selling the good Scottish beer .
