Hey, nice to meet you!  This is a very welcoming place, one of my favourite internet sites.  Please post often about anything you want.  It's rare that you get anyone trolling and, even if you have a disagreement with someone, it'll usually be conducted in a civilised fashion.

Based in the US, Upstate NY, so if you're stateside, it may be likely. :)

I am a fellow New Yorker. Helpful tip: our New York wit and style doesn't go over well with those from across the pond. This is a great place to learn things about New Model Army and to learn that us New Yorkers sure have a different way of doing things that others have a hard time keeping up with. Good place, though.

Cheers for the welcome.  Nice to meet you and thanks for the advice, Whirlwind.  It'll be good to learn more on that.  TBH I still struggle with the NY wit myself after 15 years!  I reckon it also works the opposite way- being from the UK means that over here my sarcasm and snide bullshit regularly slides under American radar  ;)
