Hello, as promised here are the figures for the ‘From Here’  to There Tour of Poland and a Bit of Germany 2019.

From Berlin 12 October to Krakow 18 October
Price £395 per person sharing for 7 nights accommodation and travel.

A single room supplement is available on request.
Note gig tickets are not included.

Ohhh, 'Magic Bus'... (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl9bvuAV-Ao) you guys, that sounds extremely reasonable, certainly far less than I was imagining!  Sucks that I can't see / access the old pics from past tours, as I'm not on facefook.  I'm sure it was a great and memorable time had by all.  SO glad NMA has a devotee in its midst that is kind enough, able and willing to do this for interested NMA aficionados.  What a bonus!  Really and truly... Thanks jc!  :)

Those two WHO clips were inserted purely for my enjoyment / excitement, about the whole idea of the NMA bus tour.
NMA is the ONLY band that, in my opinion, has ever come - even a hair - close to what The WHO was to me, with regards to bite, thrill, passion, spirit.
I love both bands, and quite intensely so.  Grrreat stuff !!

In case I didn't mention it, I confirmed my attendance on this jaunt with JC a couple days ago. Who else will I be riding the bus with?

Also, how are people handling the logistics of getting home?  Flying back to London?  Taking the train on to Budapest?  I'm from the US, so I'm guessing I will probably fly into Berlin, spend a couple days there, and then jump on the bus to Krakow, and then fly back to Berlin for a flight home.  But what are other people doing?

hey steve,

there is still a slight chance of me joining the bus tour. so i also was looking at the logistics of getting home and i found a direct bus connection from krakau to berlin for 17,99€.

i would prefer that to flying though it will be an at least 8hour ride, but i would book that under "an additional adventure" ;-)

+1 for the bus here.

Im flying back to London on the Saturday evening but being from the UK, logistically the only choice for me was do I get a 6am flight or an 8pm flight :-)

less than three months to go now!

Cthulhu, I'm uncertain about the Dortmund/Hamburg shows at this point, but I think I'm going to tailor my travel so I _could_ do them if I decide I want to.  As opposed to just sleeping for a couple days when I arrive in Berlin. It would require almost zero time to acclimate to the local timezones, and to jump on a bus straightaway the morning after I arrive.  But a Flixbus or whatever is only €9 from Berlin, so it's definitely something to consider.  And there's something to be said for starting the trip as I mean to go on.

That would be super-fantastic and of course you will decide to come at least to hamburg from berlin.;-)
I think i could arrange a sleepover for you AND jeff in hamburg.
Would be great to meet both of you again...after you left me alone after the cro-bar in the dephts of soho, lost and drunk and very satisfied..;-))

All right, flights have been booked. (The Magic Bus was already booked, but I hadn't decided how long to spend at each end.)  I land in Berlin on the 9th, and fly out again on the 21st, which _should_allow plenty of time to get back from Poland, and maybe a few adventures before and after.

It says the bus price includes travel and accommodation (i.e. bus and hotels), but not gig tickets.
