The first of two programmes about life in contemporary Bradford explores how, in defiance of gloomy economic conditions, the West Yorkshire city's long tradition of entrepreneurship is being upheld by a new generation who are utilising its multicultural influences. Naveed Khan gives makeovers to supercars and is developing his own brand of bodykits in his workshop, while builder Graham Swain has become a popular choice for members of Bradford's Asian community and also works as a grave-digger specialising in Muslim burials. Rajen Das is spending six months with his wife in her home town in eastern India exploring demand there for UK goods.
