Songs to make a bad day good.
« on: September 14, 2013, 08:11:07 PM »
Saw this earlier in week on twitter and I don't think anybody else as posted about it. Here is a link to an article in Q magazine where Justin names 10 of his favourite songs in a playlist.
http://news.qthemusic.com/2013/09/playlist_-_new_model_armys_son.html

If anybody would like to listen to the 10 songs I have made a playlist of them on 8 tracks,  I will post a link to this below. Hope it works.

'This Womans Work' is a song that could make a statue weep...

The SXSW acoustic version of 'Back To Black' mentioned is one of the most emotional performances I've ever seen. Amazing

This is surely for 'everything else' but regardless of the accuracies I'd have to have Shane Mac - maybe Truck Drivin Man - maybe St. John Of Gods or maybe That Woman's Got Me Drinking - maybe just a two hundred hundred and twenty twenty minute compilation tape of Pogues and Popes...is that allowed, ta, I'll have Bottle of Smoke as well in that case - yer a generous bunch

Mr MacGowens solo output is very under-rated... mind you, I'm one of the few people who liked 'Waiting For Herb'...

For me the most uplifting song is Poison street. Can you resist singing along to the wooo--oows towards the end - I can't, and don't want to

Does get embarrassing on the bus  ;D
