Ignite Books sale, and celebration!
« on: September 19, 2013, 09:09:54 AM »
Folks,

this week Ignite Books is four years old. We grew out of an idle comment in an email conversation and a little curiosity. If we found stories that deserved to be told, but had no publisher, why not put them out ourselves?

So that's what we did. It's been a lot of work, but it's been a lot of fun, too.

Our latest book, City Baby - the autobiography of Ross Lomas, bassist with punk legends GBH - is officially published next week. We've been selling it through the Ignite website already, and the response has been way beyond anything we'd dared to hope for. So we felt we should take a little break from work to celebrate its launch and our birthday, and say thank you to everyone who's bought our books and supported us over these past four years.

So from Monday 23rd September through till Monday 30th September, we'll be having a sale on all our existing titles. If you've been meaning to buy a copy of one of Joolz' books for yourself or a friend, or you want to find out why Q Magazine gave Dave Barbarossa's Mud Sharks a 4* review, or you just want to stock up on Xmas presents, now's your chance. Stick the dates in your diaries, and tell your friends. ;-)

And thank you all for your support. We really couldn't have done it without you. :-)

We know the sale shouldn't start till tomorrow morning, but we've already dropped the prices so we can go to bed early and have the mother of all lie-ins in the morning. :-)

Just letting you know... ;-)

If you've meant to take advantage of our sale, but haven't, here's a little reminder that it's over after the weekend.... ;-)
