Southend pre gig meet up

I know we are about 4 weeks away from the gig but has anybody got any ideas about a pre gig meet up yet?

Yeah the countdown has started look forward to hearing where we are headed and any suggested good Indians for a post mosh curry

We plan on spending the afternoon in Old Leigh - Some decent pubs on the estuary side there.
Then head to town for about 7.

Does anyone know much about the venue? It's been said there is club after but couldn't find anything about it (though as well as the Army they seem to book some good bands - depending on your taste of course - which bodes well).

Also Chinnerys FB is suggesting an acoustic set at 8.30 - hadn't seen anything about it elsewhere but may have been looking in wrong place.

Looking forward to this :)
