What do you do for a living?
« on: September 22, 2014, 10:17:46 AM »
I was curious of what type of jobs people have here. What is your job title? What type of work? Do You like it?
What would you like to being doing if you could chose anything?

Me, I cook food for a living . It's really hard work and underpaid for what sort of stress that it puts on your body and mind. It's very physical and can be really degrading as you often feel you are under-appreciated. It involves actually cooking, running, lifting, climbing, unpacking, washing dishes and delivering food to people in my car.
I hate it and like it at the same time. I do this at two different restaurants and work 60-80 hours a week. I did 90 once and it nearly killed me.

If I could do anything, I would either be a conservationist or archaeologist. It's still not too late.

Where I'm from is not my home, and neither's where i'm bound.

I do missions abroad mostly in conflict or post conflict countries. when I manage to get some. or having fun with my daughter Maya since august 2012 and enjoying the best years together. I think that now that she is still small it s the best. considering her very strong character.when she grows up it can be even more challenging.............
ah she s born in august 2012 in berlin listening to Navigating by the Stars....................

Job title is 'System Developer' and I'm working for a company which is selling smart cards and smart card operating systems on a global level. As a member of the product integration team in the telecommunication business unit of the company I'm building and testing operating systems which run on SIM cards. Most major mobile network operators are among our customers so if you are using a SIM card (which you most probably do) there is a chance that I had something to do with it ;)

And, yes, I like what I'm doing :)

I'm a marine ecologist, working mostly with whales. I love what I do.
