ROCK CITY AFTER SHOW - DEC 10th

Afternoon

There is a 200 capacity in Spanky's. To avoid the problems of 2014, where some people went out for a smoke and then couldn't get back in, there will be 200 wristbands provided by the venue on entry.

I'll be in Spanky's pre gig - not entirely sure exactly what time, but sometime between 4pm and 6pm. Wristbands will be available then too.

The doorstaff will regulate and monitor capacity based on actual attendance - if more room is made because of people leaving, anyone else arriving late without a band but wants to come in should have no problem.

Entry is via the stairs inside of Spanky's, as opposed to the external entrance / stairs.

I've paid a deposit to secure Spanky's which I get back if £1,000 is taken over the UPSTAIRS bar (the downstairs bar does not count).

I know you can do it!!

Interesting, sir, thanks for the heads up.  I'm staying at the Premier Inn just up the road, and Spanky's is on the way to the traditional pre-meet at the Tap, so I'll pop in.  Where you gonna be?

Also, I know I'm meeting a few Forum regulars at the Tap, as previously mentioned... you be OK with me picking up a few wristbands just to save them a trip out of their way and guarantee them entry if it gets a bit hectic after the gig?  I PROMISE I won't be out front come 11pm, touting them (c'mon ladeez and gents, aftershow tickets, get 'em while they're hot, only a tenner apiece...), honestly!

Glad you got your deposit back, LCG.  Thanks for doing this again, afraid I left a bit earlier than normal, one of those nights where the spirit was willing but the body let me down, I was aching like heck after the gig (got my first appointment with the osteopath next week to sort out my back problems, hopefully) but plenty of folks seemed to be enjoying themselves!

JC - did see you downstairs from afar before the aftershow, meant to catch up with you later but obviously missed you. Hope you had a good night?  Aw, silly question!

Sheena - I guess our paths are meant to cross another time!  Unless they did and we didn't know it...
