A few weeks ago, I noticed a seller with a frankly dodgy username had listed a copy of the Devil/Winter/Die Trying promo CD. I put it on the watch list, and noticed that someone had bought it. The seller then listed it again, and I thought, that's odd that one seller would have two copies of that promo CD. I watched it again, and after the listing rolled over once I bought it.
It arrived a few days ago, and it's obviously a copy. The artwork is a low quality inkjet print, the disc is a little better reproduction job but still not the real promo. Of course it's not numbered, but the artwork where the number would be is complete and filled in, which is strange.
I've initiated a return request, which is step one. I doubt the seller will respond, and I wouldn't ship it back anyway. The U.S. Postal Service jacked up the cost of international shipping a few years ago, presumably because it helps to offset their subsidy of Amazon's shipping costs. What a country.
Moral of the story: Don't buy from someone named luckylarry. Wait for his "luck" to run out first I suppose.
